Jennifer Lee, Assoc. AIA, is an award winning, published residential designer with a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon. Jennifer's projects have been featured twice in Luxe Magazine. Before owning her own business, Jennifer worked as a designer and project manager in architecture firms in Oregon and California for 25 years. She is the Principal Owner of Bay Shore Residential Design (BSRD), a residential design firm established in 2003. Jennifer specializes in new and remodeled homes with a "warm-modern" aesthetic. She is capable of completing the whole house design from schematics through permitting and interior design. Jennifer is a Certified Green Building Professional with Build It Green and an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects. She prizes herself on being a good communicator, and a passionate designer. Jennifer strives for a collaborative and fun design experience with her clients, and shares in the pride of beautiful and functional results!

Jennifer is a Certified Green Building Professional through the California based organization Build It Green.

B.I.G. has a useful residential Green Building Checklist which has been adopted by the City of Palo Alto and other California communities to require a certain level of Green Building in new and remodeled homes. Working with my Green Building Consultant, we can recommend which guidelines are most beneficial for you and your home to ensure healthy living, low environmental impact, and long term energy savings.

I've been working with Jen for the last 5+ years for various big projects. The first was to turn a small, slightly boring home in Sausalito CA into something the opposite of small and boring. From restrictive city code to a challenging site plan, this one had some major design constraints that required someone creative and unconventional to navigate.
